SITUATION OF THE PROJECT
“Rectoria” street is on the neighborhood of the residential Horta, in Barcelona. It measure eight meters in width and 50 meters in length.
This street is conformed by residential buildings completely consolidated on both sides of the street.
The transversal section is almost horizontal and the street end on a wide zone with a small and nice square in.

MEMORY OF THE PROJECT
Our proposal is to convert the “Rectoria” street into a pedestrian area.
We will establish a single section to the same level for the whole street, but with a very slight slope to create a strip for water collection.
The small square will be integrated to the end of street to generate visual and actual magnitude of the projected area.
To get the same treatment to whole space of the street, we propose to conduct one single floor.
There is some furniture on this street, (as de fountain and other elements at the end of it) that offers to this area a personal character. We will keep this furniture in order to preserve this special character.
There will be compatible trees (orange trees-“Citrus cinensis”) placed to both sides of the street, and benches to sit.
